Analysis of the effectiveness of the modern mechanism for challenging non-normative legal acts, decisions, actions (omissions) of local government bodies in the Russian Federation

This article examines the essence and significance of the modern mechanism for challenging non-normative legal acts, decisions, actions and omissions of local governments in the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to ensure the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as to increase the effectiveness of local government in a dynamically changing legal environment. The main aspects of legal regulation concerning the challenge of non-normative legal acts and judicial practice are analyzed. The study highlights the key problems that citizens and organizations face when challenging, such as insufficient legal awareness and legal literacy and insufficient effectiveness of existing protection mechanisms. Recommendations are proposed for improving legislation and practice in this area, aimed at improving interaction between local governments and citizens.
