Analysis of the economic mechanism of state regulation of the sectoral structure

The article is devoted to the analysis of the economic mechanism of state regulation of the sectoral structure of the economy. The object is the state regulation of the economic system as a whole, the subject is the economic mechanism of state regulation of the sectoral structure of the economy. In the process of conducting the study, such methods were used as: analysis, which allows distributing the system of state regulation in general and the sectoral structure in particular according to certain features and properties for a more detailed study of them; deduction, which makes it possible to draw conclusions about the phenomena and objects under study based on general data, observing the principle of considering a phenomenon from the totality to particular components; generalization, through which the formulation of a generalizing conclusion about the system of state regulation is carried out on the basis of a number of small signs; classification - a method that involves dividing the phenomenon under study into classification groups according to certain characteristics for grouping in order to increase the clarity and accessibility of information for assimilation. The elements of scientific novelty consist in proposals regarding the revision of existing methods for determining the competitiveness of economic sectors and the development of an updated mechanism suitable for use in the context of increasing globalization processes, as well as allowing not only to assess the competitiveness accumulated by industries, but also to identify promising ones in terms of development and increasing interest in them in the future industry complexes. The main results and conclusions of the study are, firstly, the need for further work to deepen this issue, related to the development of a unified approach and a stable integrated system; secondly, the need to transform existing approaches to assessing the competitiveness of sectors of the economy, with the goal of developing a mechanism that promotes an increase in economic growth rates.
