Analysis of the emotional background story of anton P. Chekhov “Ionych” in the process of teaching Russian language to foreign students

The article is devoted to the analysis of the emotional background in artistic prose. The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of emotionally expressive linguistic and speech means in the story of Anton P. Chekhov "Ionych”. The research makes an attempt to analyze the linguistic aspect of emotions, to reveal the emotional background of a story, to classify linguistic and speech means of expression of emotionality. The analysis of modern scientific literature on psychology, physiology, sociology, philosophy, medicine, linguistics and to other sciences has allowed drawing a conclusion that the emotion is one of forms of reflection of objective reality. An important place in the work is the consideration of the ideas of linguists, who consider that the emotional and emotive concept is a part of intercultural competence. According to the authors, linguistic and speech means of expression of emotionality in the study of the works of Russian classical literature in the process of teaching Russian language to foreign students require special techniques and careful preparation, both students and teachers. Analysis of emotional-expressive vocabulary helps foreign students not only deeply and comprehensively understand the essence of the events described in a second language, but also to master the features of work with texts in the study of the works of Russian classical literature.
