To particularly dangerous and widespread infectious diseases in the world include bluetongue, of the number of outbreaks during the period from 2000 to May 2014, 63,08% of cases have been observed in the Mediterranean countries. The aim of the recent research is to determine the features and character of bluetongue epizootic process. At moderate levels of epizootic manifestations of bluetongue morbidity index constitutes 2,75%, mortality rate - 1,39% and lethality - 11,63%.
