Key indicators’ analysis of scientific and technological development of the region (on the example of the Nizhny Novgorod region)

In this article, an attempt is made to analyze the indicators of scientific and technological development selected on the basis of a profile rating on the example of one of the regions of our country. The object of the study is the Nizhny Novgorod region as one of the most developed regions in scientific, educational and innovative development, and it is also proposed to compare the indicators with two other regions: Sverdlovsk as a leading industrial territory and Tomsk as an advanced scientific and educational center in order to understand what advantages and opportunities in terms of reputational development non-metropolitan regions have. The methodology is based on the approach used in our previous studies [7].
