Analysis of the competitiveness of the region's industry

The disparity between the contribution of the light industry sector to the development of the Russian economy and its potential determines the need to study its competitive capabilities. The article attempts to build a competitive M. Porter diamond for the light industry of the region on the example of St. Petersburg. In the process of construction, problems and factors hindering the increase of competitiveness were identified. These studies can serve as a supplement to the regional policy of industry management.
