Analysis of the competitiveness of the Russian regions in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution

A method for assessing the competitiveness of Russian regions in terms of the conformity of economic and technological development with the global trends characteristic of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) is proposed. As an example illustrating the proposed approach, an assessment of the competitiveness and potential of Moscow and the Moscow Region are carried out. On the basis of the analysis, the main directions of regional policy in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution are determined.
