Analysis of design characteristics of diesels

The article discusses the relationship between of constructive execution of diesels and technical indicators. Validity and progressiveness of design elaboration and manufacturing techniques determine the potential level of reliability of the engines. Have been carried out manufacturing tests the 14 brands of diesels. Range of scattering of indicators studied is shown and the correlation interrelation between them is identified. The influence of design parameters on the mechanical coefficient of efficiency action of diesels was established. Based on the analysis of the results of the study, the main directions of engine modernization were determined.
