Analysis of methodological advantages and justification of managerial expediency of using the program-target method in strategic planning of local government activities in the field of physical culture and sports development in the Russian Federation

The article examines a narrow aspect that is of particular methodological importance for the science of municipal administration, namely, based on the analysis of special and legal literature, strategic planning documents, methodological advantages are identified and the managerial expediency of using the program - target method in the strategic planning of local government activities for the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation is proved.
