This article discusses the concept of such a deformation as a "flapper", the harm that this deformation can bring to the operated object, documents are indicated in which the sizes of flappers are presented, as well as an analysis of methods for their elimination is carried out, the advantages and disadvantages of each method are identified and the most optimal option is selected.
