For many years, the education system clearly divided children into ordinary and disabled people, who practically did not have the opportunity to get education and deliver their potential, as they were not allowed to study at the institutions together with the other children. The unfairness of this situation is obvious. Children with special needs should have equal opportunities with other children. So there is a need to introduce a form of education that will create optimal learning conditions for them — inclusive education. An inclusive approach involves understanding the various educational needs of children and delivering learning services in accordance with these needs through greater participation in the educational process, as well as public involvement and elimination of discrimination in education. Inclusive education refers to the creation of conditions for the joint training of children with disabilities and their healthy peers. The article reveals the experience of implementing inclusive education in Russia and abroad. The main principles of inclusion in the educational systems of countries where this experience is recognized as successful are considered.
