The analysis of interregional inequality on ecological showings of economic growth

Using the most popular measures of inequality (the Gini coefficient, Atkinson index, Theil Index) and recent statistical data for the period of rapid economic growth and the financial crisis, the authors estimate interregional inequalities in Russia. This study specific aim is to identify the inequality in eco-intensity indicators. The authors demonstrate that gaps between the regions were considerable during the period of 2000-2011.
