Analysis of complications after combined modality treatment of non-small cell lung cancer

The analysis of complications occurring in patients with stage III locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with combined modality treatment including neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radical surgery with 15 Gy intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) was carried out. Thirty-six patients were treated with above method. Postoperative complications were observed in 16,7 ± 3,4 % of cases. Postoperative lethality rate was 5,5 ± 2,4 %.
