Analysis of the main indicators of the development of the regional social sphere

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the main indicators of the functioning of the key links in the social sphere of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, which characterize the current level of development and the current state of the industry. The most acute and urgent problems of the development and modernization of regional health care and education systems are identified, which are the main reason that determines the processes of increasing the lag in the development of social sectors in the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District as a whole.
