Issues of the theory of entrepreneurship are currently becoming even more relevant in connection with the intensification of the introduction of entrepreneurial projects in the field of production, the provision of socially significant services and the implementation of innovative projects. The gradation and sequence of development of the theory is reflected in the analysis of the “waves of development” and the classification of enterprises, entrepreneurial projects in accordance with their mission and tasks, as well as the competitiveness of products and services. The presented work may be of interest to entrepreneurs, students, graduate students, students of retraining and advanced training courses in this area. The aim of the work is to analyze the development of the theory of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial projects in the field of production and the provision of socially significant services. In the work, general scientific methods were used: structural and functional, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the analysis and generalization of the considered materials on the formation of theoretical principles and classification of entrepreneurship, including in the production and provision of services.
