Analysis of peculiarities of nutrition of girls engaged in swimming

The features of nutrition of girls of middle school age, engaged in swimming, are analyzed. It is shown that the average daily diets of many young swimmers are insufficient in terms of milk, dairy products, fish and fresh fruits, against the backdrop of a high content of bakery products made from high-quality flour, confectionery products and sweet carbonated drinks. Most young athletes (69 %) do not comply with the diet. The necessity is shown to raise awareness of young athletes and their parents on issues related to the optimization of diet.
