Analysis of the implementation of customs control over the movement of narcotic drugs by catian divisions of the FCS of the Russian Federation

The law enforcement activities of the customs authorities are aimed at identifying and suppressing the illegal movement of narcotic drugs. When exercising customs control over the movement of narcotic drugs, cynological units of the customs authorities are used. The article presents an analysis of the number of cases of detection of narcotic and potent substances by customs authorities using service dogs. Based on the results of the analysis, existing problems were identified, as well as ways to solve them.
