Error analysis of measurement the density of oil-containing mix and their influence on determination the separation time

The main and additional errors arising at indirect measurement of oil-containing mix density in oil and gas separator are considered. For compensation of additional error the temperature sensing device is injected into the scheme of process control of separation. Correction is carried out on the basis of these laboratory researches of dependence the density of borehole water and oil on temperature. Formulas for definition of additional error of measurement the density are received by an indirect method. Assessment of accuracy of approximate calculations of an error on the received formulas generally and in the set technological mode is executed. Precise gravity test allows to calculate water content of oil-containing mix and to define optimum time of separation. The algorithm realizing the main measuring and computing procedures is developed. The algorithm provides constant control of size of mix water content and updating the data for imitating model. On the basis of imitating model experiments of which finding of optimum time of separation at various water content of oil-containing mix was result are executed. Results of work allow to increase efficiency of the device of separation at preservation of quality of tank oil.
