Analysis of the behavior of schoolchildren when choosing a university based on the decision tree method

In the realities of modern society, such as high rates of scientific and technological progress, the availability of movement over long distances, the level of migration activity of the population is increasing. In this connection, there is a problem of regulating migration flows, especially educational ones, in terms of understanding the behavior of the population. To do this, based on the method of automatic data analysis (decision tree), an algorithm has been developed that describes the logic of making decisions about choosing a university. As a study of the factors influencing this decision, the results of a survey conducted by the ISEI of the Russian Academy of Sciences among students of grades 10-11 of secondary schools of the Republic of Bashkortostan were used.
