Presentation strategy of veracity in German theatre critics

The article deals with the basic structure of intentionality which is considered as a part of a presentation strategy of veracity in theatre critics. The analysis was carried out according to the model developed by John R. Searle. Though evaluation and personal interpretation play a considerable role in theatre critics, the analysis has revealed, that the strong position of the text – initial segment – contains mostly ontologically and epistemically objective utterances to make the text appear more veridical.
