Analysis of the Causes and Consequences of Musdflows in the Batken Region in 2024

This article examines the causes of mudflows, their consequences, and disaster risk reduction measures in the Batken region. In 2024, the region faced several powerful mudflow events triggered by both natural and anthropogenic factors. The analysis is based on remote sensing data, meteorological observations, and GIS analysis. Special attention is given to identifying the most vulnerable areas and proposing specific protective measures.
