Analysis, problems and prospects of licensing of foreign economic activities in Russia

The article shows the role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in regulating the movement of licensed goods across the customs border. The dynamics of issuing licenses for 2021-2023, the structure of export and import of licensed goods, as well as the identified problems in the interaction between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation are considered. Attention is focused on the need to introduce digital technologies to improve the efficiency of licensing, reduce administrative barriers and improve control over compliance with license terms. The article emphasizes the importance of effective interaction between departments to ensure the stability of foreign economic policy and protect the domestic market.
