Analysis of spatial development: the specificity of single-industry towns in Russia

The article analyzes the specifics of the development of single-industry towns in the Russian Federation. Based on statistical data and analysis of the measures of the implemented state economic policy, the specifics of the spatial development of single-industry towns are revealed. The article proves that the stabilization of the socio-economic situation of Russian single-industry towns is possible with an integrated approach that includes the efforts of federal, regional, and municipal authorities, sectoral ministries and departments.
