This article examines W. Quine's dogmas of empiricism, as well as the basic concepts used in the book “Two Dogmas of Empiricism”. The relevance of the article is dictated by the fact that W. Quine's concepts in the field of philosophy of science, semantics and epistemology have become widespread in contemporary English-speaking philosophy. The paper represents W. Quine's views on the dichotomy of analytical and synthetic judgments in particular, as well as criticism of reductionism.
