Аnnotation. Given the fact that human capital is the driving force behind the development of postindustrial society and the knowledge economy, where the most important resource development becomes the man with his knowledge and skills, it is important to note that the issue of personnel management in the enterprise occupies one of leading places in system of sociolabor relations. In today's dynamic companies are currently serious problem is the risks associated with the process of releasing the personnel, as they act as a tool to address the challenges of workforce optimization that can improve the socio-economic results of the company. In the article the peculiarities of realization of the function of the release of personnel in the largest vertically integrated oil company in Russia.
