One of the mathematical models of production is the problem of the use of resources. The paper considers one of the modifications of such a mathematical model as the problem of linear programming. To analyze the solution of a pair of dual problems of the modified model, additional coefficients of the model are used. On the basis of additional coefficients, the preference relation is formulated when using two resources. For the production of products in the condition of preference for the release of the first type, two conditions are proposed. These conditions are formed by solving the dual task of producing products in conditions of a balance of consumption of resources and the influence of both factors of production. For the second condition, two variants of constraints on the parameters of the solution of the dual problem are additionally considered. At the end of the paper, the conclusions of the study are formulated.
