The analysis of the impact of the law enforcement activity as a factor of the strategic development of customs authorities

This article presents the analysis of the impact of the law enforcement activity as one of the most important factors of the strategic development of customs authorities. The main function of customs authorities is the law enforcement. Therefore, it is necessary and important to improve and develop this area on a regular basis. The state of the system of customs authorities as well as public safety and regulatory compliance depend on the law enforcement efficiency. "The Strategy of development of the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation till 2020" was approved by the Order of the President of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2012 No. 2575 (in edition of February 10, 2018). This strategy has established the objectives and target indicators, which are necessary to be achieved within the indicated factor of the strategic development. This article describes and compares established requirements and actual results, which may show the problems that prevent the law enforcement from the improvement.
