Analysis of the M&A market in Russia

The article is devoted to analyzing the market of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. In the course of the work both theoretical aspects of the research topic and practical ones are studied. The peculiarities and characteristic features for M&A transactions in the domestic market are highlighted, and the volume and average value of transactions are analyzed. The results of M&A transactions can vary significantly and many transactions fail to achieve the desired objectives, hence, research can help identify factors contributing to success or failure and develop strategies to improve results.
