The paper deals with the conformity assessment of balance between supply and demand for specialists with higher education in Vologda region, as one of typical territories of the Russian Federation. The study is based on statistics and econometrics. The balance between demand and supply for specialists with higher education in the period 2014-2016 is analyzed.
