The article analyzes the existing system of remuneration and labor incentive for university teachers in the Kyrgyz Republic. It was revealed that the average salaries of teachers in the higher education system have been growing in recent years. The quality of the teachers’ work depends on the correspondence of the work results to remuneration. The systems of incentive payments in the country's universities are considered. An analysis of remuneration and labor incentive at the Osh Technological University was carried out. Separate proposals are formulated to improve the efficiency of the teacher remuneration system and ways to improve it are proposed.
