In today's realities due to changes in the international environment, rapid digitalization of society, and changes in the structure of content consumption, media management has changed. As part of the research work, the authors analyzed the management system, structured management trends in the media sphere in Russia and Europe, as well as studied the current legal framework on which the industry relies and concluded what practices are most in demand in Russia and in the world.
