Analysis of social structure, age groups and population size of Yakutia taking into account the migration flows and the specific climate (case study of the Union national censuses of 1939 and 1959)

The article analyzes and compares the data of the AllSoviet Union censuses in Yakutia on main demographic indices of population size and structure: number of urban and rural inhabitants, population structure by age and gender. The demographic data are processed in the context of the migration flows and the specific climate environment of Yakutia.
