Analysis of condition of the raw material base of the meat industry of Altai territory

The condition of the raw material base of the meat sub-sector of the agro-industrial complex of the Altai territory for the period from 2014 to 2018 has been analyzed. The number of cattle, pigs and poultry in the region decreased by 2.8%, 10.0% and 4.8%, respectively. The priority in the Altai Territory is the support of farms engaged in the breeding of cattle specialized meat breeds. The plan of measures for the development of the raw material base of the meat industry of the Altai Territory for the period 2018-2020, including measures to support the development of animal husbandry and stimulate investment activity of processing enterprises, is outlined.
