Analysis of the current state of nuclear energy in the Russian Federation

This article analyzes the current state of nuclear energy in the Russian Federation. The article is of an overview statistical nature, the statistics of the rating of countries for the production of electricity at nuclear power plants are given; exports, imports (nuclear reactors, boilers, equipment, mechanical devices, etc.) over the past 5 years, commodity structure. The authors note that such a stable and promising development of nuclear energy is associated with state support and stimulation. It is also noted that the nuclear industry is still the most politicized branch of energy, largely due to the fact that it can have a direct impact on the development of defense and strategic alignment of forces.
