The article contains the analysis of modern methods of goodwill evaluation. The authors review quantitative as well as qualitative methods of goodwill evaluation and the fields of their application. In the article the authors show the main advantages and disadvantages of the methods of goodwill evaluation under analysis. The article underlines that the goodwill should be evaluated not only for purchase and sale contracts but at any point of a company's life cycle.
