Subject-matter analysis of the process approach to the enterprise management

A growing interest of large global corporations in modern technologies of process management is caused by a possibility to improve the quality of enterprise management significantly. Management based on the process approach involves modeling and optimisation of all the activities within the enterprise, modification of management system in order to eliminate all kinds of waste and increase the level of enterprise response to the market needs. The article describes the purposes of implementation of process technologies, stages of building a process management system, its specific features. It states the main trends of process management development at Russian enterprises. The presented purposes and stages of development of process management have been subjected to the additional analysis, the main approaches to their realization, and also author's vision of their separate aspects are revealed.
