Analysis of technologies and facilities for purification of rain water

The urgency of cleaning rainwater (RW) from various contaminants entering storm sewage and then rivers is revealed. The data on the main pollutants, mandatory mechanical purification processes of RW and the relevant equipment are systematized. The necessity of additional RW purification with chemical, physico-chemical or biological methods is shown. The analysis of advantages and disadvantages of chemical, bioengineering and sorption-filtration technologies is carried out and the scheme of compact filtering equipment is characterized.
