Analysis of the trends of banking mergers and acquisitions in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the banking sector, in connection with the sale and consolidation of small and medium-sized banks. The article analyzes the dynamics of M & A transactions in Russia. The paper presents conclusions on the objectives and motivations of modern mergers and acquisitions in the Russian banking business, based on a review of the Russian M & A market in the banking sector over the years.
