The Belgorod region, having fertile land and a favorable climate, is traditionally an agricultural region and confidently occupies a leading position in the production of agricultural products among the subjects of the Russian Federation. According to the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, for the period 2018-2020, the region ranked 3rd in terms of gross regional product, second only to the Voronezh and Moscow regions. Agricultural producers are represented by well-known agro-industrial holdings not only in Russia, but also abroad, such as Miratorg-Belgorod LLC, Rusagro-Invest LLC, Belgrancorm LLC, Prioskolye JSC and others. But in addition to large organizational and legal associations, small forms of management, such as peasant (farm) farms, also play a significant role in the overall contribution. With a simpler structure and few staff, they are able to respond quickly and flexibly to new trends in agriculture, satisfying the needs of individual consumers for eco-products and green brands. The start for the first P(F)F in the Belgorod region is considered to be 1993, when the volume of agricultural products produced amounted to more than 9.0 million rubles. The purpose of the study is an economic and statistical assessment of trends in agricultural production in peasant (farm) farms in the Belgorod region. The study was conducted on the basis of data provided by the Federal State Statistics Service in the public domain. The methodological basis for the research is the methods of economic-statistical and regression analysis. The study revealed that for the period 1993-2022. There is a steady growth trend in agricultural production by peasant (farmer) farms in the Belgorod region. During the study period, the share of P(F)F in gross agricultural production increased almost 3 times - from 2.3% to 6.2%. The maximum volume of agricultural production is noted in 2022 in the Belgorod region - 21,500 million rubles. The conducted analysis allows us to conclude about the prospects of this form of business organization. In the context of the adoption of a Strategy for the development of organic production until 2030, the popularity of farms will grow, which will allow additional development of this form of management.
