The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state and development prospects of trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and its BRICS partner countries — Brazil, India, China, and South Africa. The study focuses on a detailed examination of bilateral cooperation with each country. Based on statistical data for 2023–2024, we have analyzed the dynamics and volume of mutual trade turnover and its commodity structure. In particular, it is highlighted the key role of energy supplies (oil, gas, and coal) in Russian exports to China and India, while imports from these countries primarily consist of machinery, equipment, and high-tech products. We have considered significant joint projects in strategic sectors such as energy (field development, oil refinery construction), transport infrastructure, defense industry, and high technology. Cooperation within BRICS demonstrates stable positive dynamics, overcoming market fluctuations. Despite differences in the scale and structure of interactions with each individual country, overall, this partnership forms a reliable and multifaceted economic platform. It promotes the strengthening of economic sovereignty, technological exchange, and the creation of new value chains, which are important factors in the sustainable development of all BRICS members on the international stage.
