Analysis of the transformation of the system of indicators for achieving the level of food security of the country

One of the most acute problems currently existing in Russia is the problem of providing the country with food. The continuing decline in the volume of national production of basic foodstuffs leaves one of the main human needs unsatisfied - the provision of healthy, varied food. Against the background of a steadily deteriorating environmental situation, food shortages directly cause an increase in morbidity and a reduction in life expectancy, which makes the task of ensuring the country’s food security particularly relevant.
