Analysis of the level of containerization in the Russian Federation based on the innovation development index

The article is devoted to the analysis of the level of containerization based on the index of innovative development of the Russian Federation. The index of innovation development and it's sub indices on the basis of World Bank data is investigated and the rates of their growth are revealed. The indicators of container turnover of sea transportations of Russia are considered. The interrelation between the lagging indicators of the sub indexes of innovative development and the container turnover of sea transportation is revealed. Factors that hamper the effective development of the logistic system of container shipping by Russia are considered. Measures have been developed to improve the level of containerization of the country on the basis of the index of innovation development.
