Analysis of successful cases of technology transfer in industry

The article presents the results of a study of the best practices of technology transfer in countries with developed and developing economies. The purpose of the work is to identify the existing mechanisms for technology transfer, methods for assessing its effectiveness in developed and developing countries, and assessing the possibility of using the best world experience in the Russian Federation. The authors identified the genesis of the scientific research on technology transfer problems and identified key actors in the innovation process, such as universities, industrial enterprises, the state and society, where universities play a leading role in creating innovations. The information base of the study were the materials of scientific publications and official reports of governments and independent organizations, which are in charge of various aspects of technology transfer. The analysis made it possible to state that in countries with developed economies, state support for the technology transfer process is systemic, which significantly increases its efficiency; and for countries with developing economies, single successful cases of innovation transfer are most typical, for example, such as technology transfer offices. The result of the study was a system of practical recommendations for the creation and improvement of an effective technology transfer system in the domestic industry. Thus, for the successful transfer of industrial technologies in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to use other countries’ cases on the creation of university-based technology transfer offices for industrial enterprises. In the development of this study, it is planned to evaluate and analyze the existing mechanisms for the interaction of all actors in the transfer process in the Russian Federation and develop mechanisms to stimulate the innovative activity of industrial enterprises through the organization of an effective transfer system.
