The article analyzes the technologies and strategies underlying effective election campaigns in social networks. The key components of election campaigning are considered: audience targeting, creation of attractive content, interaction with users, data analysis and monitoring of feedback from potential voters. In addition, the article considers ethical and security issues related to the use of social networks during election campaigns.
