Analysis the impact of mergers and acquisitions on the company’s share price and financial performance

As part of the research work, the authors conducted a study of how M&A transactions affect the financial performance of companies and the value of their shares. The article discusses and notes the factors that influence the transaction, identifies the reasons why companies merge. The authors note the global trends that are already determining the future of the M&A market. At the same time, the paper analyzes the two largest M&A deals in the Russian market.
