The relationship of the employed population and gross domestic product: experience of the Russian Federation

The article, based on official statistics data, conducts a study of the mutual influence of the size of the employed population and the gross national product using tools for constructing econometric models. The authors attempt to determine the closeness of the mutual influence of the number of employed people and the gross national product over 30 years in the Russian Federation and interpret the results obtained considering the characteristics of the country's socio-economic development.
