Analysis of student interest in competitive activity

The article presents the results of a study conducted in order to find out the attitude of students and their interest in competitive activity. Object of study - students of Moscow Polytechnic University. Based on the results obtained, some conclusions are drawn: the majority of respondents have a positive opinion about sport in the form of separate judgments, but the activity component is at a low level among students. Based on this, problems are identified in the organization of mass student sports competitions that deserve further study.
