This article discusses the design of a pulse wave analyzer, a distinctive feature of which is the use of an adjustable platform for more precise detection of the radial artery apex. Mounting the sensor on the artery apex allows for obtaining an undistorted pulse wave signal. However, this procedure is associated with certain difficulties due to the need to increase the number of sensitive elements in a limited area. This leads to significant complexity of the device circuitry and is not always effective in solving the problem. Known solutions of this kind consist of bulky supports that do not meet the requirements for device mobility and compactness. Designs with a limited number of sensitive elements (e.g., 3-point sensors) also do not achieve the required accuracy. To facilitate positioning the sensor on the radial artery apex, three additional supports are implemented in the device, located on the inner wrist, allowing for changing the tilt axis of the already installed sensor. This adjustment should facilitate positioning the sensor at its maximum sensitivity to the pulse wave signal. Tests involving volunteers confirmed the effectiveness of adjusting the sensor's position when positioned at the apex of the vibrating vessel.
