The distance form is effective if the student has certain personal qualities: the desire to learn a foreign language for a certain period of time, responsibility, punctuality, the ability to work independently with complex information and selforganization. Special attention is also paid to the consideration of multimedia courses. Another opportunity for high-quality teaching of foreign languages can be a multimedia course. Multimedia courses are included in many existing paper versions of textbooks as support materials for self-study, as well as for selfmonitoring of learning progress.

Distance form of language education.

It refers to the possibility of the student to receive language education independently or remotely with the advice of teachers on the Internet. It is very effective if the trainee has certain personal qualities:

  • •    the desire to learn a foreign language in a certain period of time;

  • •    responsibility;

  • •    punctuality;

  • •    ability to work independently with complex information;

  • •    self-organization.

A student who has these personal qualities is guaranteed the success of learning a foreign language.

To learn a language remotely, you will need several conditions:

  • •    Internet connection;

  • •    Skype program;

  • •    register on a website that offers a distance learning course (for example, on lingualeo);

  • •    availability of foreign dictionaries, phrasebooks, and other manuals;

  • •    passing on-line testing to determine your level of language proficiency.

The advantages of distance learning include:

  • •    training in individual mode - the trainee can choose a convenient schedule for himself;

  • •    the ability to learn from those manuals and programs that are clear and pleasant;

  • •    mobility;

  • •    manufacturability;

  • •    ability to realize your creative potential;

  • •    equality: every individual (regardless of their financial status and social status) has the same opportunities to learn a language.

After analyzing the advantages of distance education, we can conclude that it is quite effective. However, with one caveat: before choosing it as a system for learning a foreign language, you need to once again analyze your personal qualities well. Interesting from the point of view of technology is the study of a foreign language on Skype. This technology is relatively young and allows you to effectively teach a foreign language remotely. On one part of the screen, the student sees an electronic textbook with the topic of the lesson and exercises, on the other-a small window with the teacher in headphones. The lesson is designed in such a way that people constantly communicate with each other in a foreign language. Some teachers use Skype only for foreign language communication. The main rule of the lesson is that you can't communicate in Uzbek language, everything is only in a foreign language: even if it is wrong, difficult, and long, but only with the logic and vocabulary of the student.

Some advantages of learning English distance form include:

  • •    continuous conversational training;

  • •    special attention is paid to individual abilities and abilities of a person: first, the teacher will determine the level of language proficiency of the student using a special test, and only then will make a specific lesson plan;

  • •    grammar becomes interesting and basic grammatical constructions are presented in simple diagrams during the dialogue between the student and the teacher;

  • •    individualized homework, based on the characteristics of the study by each individual student. Everyone remembers incomprehensible and too complex school exercises, which sometimes had to deal with for hours. In this method, you will not find this. Only clear and interesting exercises based on the principle of using logic;

  • •    competent teachers, since the distance form involves some psychological barriers that may affect the freedom of the teacher, so it is possible to assume that the teacher should be confident in their own knowledge of the language;

  • •    ability to study from anywhere in the world where there is an Internet connection. At home, on a business trip, or even on vacation, you can get the necessary knowledge.

Learning a foreign language of MOODLE is gaining popularity in our country every year. This is not surprising, since this training method is not tied to the location of the person and provides regular classes.

Another opportunity for high-quality teaching of foreign languages can be a multimedia course. Multimedia courses are included in many existing paper versions of textbooks as support materials for self-study, as well as for selfmonitoring of learning progress.

It should be noted that multimedia courses are systematic and interactive. They combine all the useful qualities of modern methods of teaching foreign languages:

  • •    interactivity (tasks are completed with the assumption that the student can check himself / herself);

  • •    focus on personal progress (ability to track your own successes and failures and plan your own activities within the course) and convenient option "course Navigator" - helps you choose the exercises that fit your level;

  • •    opportunities for listening and video with subsequent exercises, which is so lacking in book textbooks;

  • •    level (the course guarantees that the stated level will be met and the student will not encounter too difficult or too easy material);

  • •    availability of a testing system based on the results of passing;

  • •    the program automatically recognizes and records words and entire sentences spoken into the microphone. This technology is also used to control the memorization of active vocabulary lessons;

  • •    availability of interesting idioms and authentic English texts;

  • •    translation of all materials into Russian is very important at the beginning of learning English.

Usually multimedia courses are an improved computerized version of paper courses. They consist of four or five levels - from elementary to advanced.

Multimedia courses include universal pedagogical mechanisms that allow you to independently build your own strategy for learning a foreign language from any level without losing quality. Therefore, an independent user is provided with a high-quality product, which, however, does not solve the problem of live communication.
