This article is devoted to the analysis of semantic relationships between the components of German composites. A special place in the word composition is occupied by the study of the motives by which the speaker is guided when using the formation of composites in speech. An introduction to the study of communication partners means an appeal to the communicativepragmatic side of compositing.
